On December 8th, 2010, ASKLEP Inc. (a CRO in Japan) hosted its 3rd Annual Global Conference in Tokyo. This year’s theme focused on “Clinical Development in China- “Greater China”, a new path to Asian Clinical Development”. 200 attendees participated from 46 pharmaceutical and biotech companies.

Special Guests from the State Food and Drug Administration (SFDA) China, a Chinese clinical trial investigator, and Japanese Pharma presented at the event. ”Quality and Speed of clinical development from SFDA Biostatistical stand point”, “Clinical development in China, from an investigator stand point”, and “Chinese clinical development Strategy and its influence”, and “Points of Chinese Clinical Trails & Quality in China (Auditor’s point of view)”. The conference included the latest information and some case studies, and received high praise from attendees mentioning that the conference is very useful when they conduct clinical trials in China.

ASKLEP has taken the lead role among Japanese CROs in providing these events to further add value and support to clients beyond the borders of Japan.
